Macallan Enigma is intensely fruity and oaky, with aromas of raisins, vanilla, sweet pears and cinnamon. The palate holds more raisin and wood spice notes, followed by ginger, cinnamon and oak.
The Macallan Enigma is matured in hand–picked European oak sherry seasoned casks from Jerez. You can experience the ultimate marriage of mature oak. Full and lingering oak, subtle cinnamon, sweet vanilla and lasting flavours of spicy dried fruits. It is rare to try a single malt with casks from one exact source, making this style of Macallan something of an enigma.
